Emotions continued to be the focus of shared reading. For writing, students worked on making connections to book characters. We also discussed growth mindset and the power of yet. Students wrote about something they have not done or can't do yet and how they will grow/get there.
We are still working on addition fluency in math, and students learned about the Wright Brothers and made paper airplanes and helicopters in science. Next week students practice any sight words during word work. There is no spelling test. It is disappointing Field Day has to be postponed to Monday, but at least we get to have it! We are outside from 9-10:45am. PB&J is the only lunch choice, and we will still have snow cones after lunch. Looking forward to seeing you! Thank you!
